It is a free mobile phone information service supported by advertising revenue; it integrates contextual advertisements with location-based services - all in audio format. Advertisers pay AskKinjo to deliver context sensitive adverts direct to the consumer. To accomplish this, AskKinjo delivers location- relevant, free-of-charge content to cell phone users. On contacting AskKinjo the opt-in user is presented with an audio ad that is tied directly to the user's interests, search request, time and geographical location. Once the ad is heard, the user can listen to their tailored content.

"Information on the Go" is built around a collection of AskKinjo promoted, operator independent location-relevant content organized around key verticals including car commuters, food and drinks, entertainment etc.  And unlike directory assistance services, our users will not call 5 times a year or less but 5 times a month or more, giving AskKinjo a substantial inventory of ad spaces and demographics data to offer advertisers.
